The CGSim

When the weather wins, the simulator room is indoors, heated and private, with 43,000 playable courses on it. Up to four people at a time, booked by the hour.

Range questions

Do I need to book a bay?

No. The driving range is turn up and play. Buy a basket at the counter and take any free bay. The only thing that needs booking is the CGSim simulator room.

Do I need to be a member?

No. Country Golf has no membership requirement and no joining fee. Everything is pay as you go.

What time are the last balls?

45 minutes before closing. That is 7:15pm Monday to Friday, and 5:15pm on Saturday and Sunday.

I do not have clubs. Can I still come?

Yes. Sets can be hired at reception — right handed, left handed and junior.

Is the range open in winter?

Yes. All 22 bays are undercover and floodlit, which is why the range runs to 8pm on weekdays through the dark months.

Is there a dress code?

No. Come as you are.

Want someone to look at your swing?

Three of the bays are set up for coaching, with PGA tuition on site seven days a week. Adult sessions start at £35, juniors at £15.
