1994 was the year the range opened, back when it was a daytime range with a 9-hole knockabout next to it. It has grown into a 22 bay undercover floodlit range with a 12 hole Par 3 course, the Mini Links and a simulator room.

Two owners, between them most of a working lifetime in the golf industry.

Over 30 years in the golf industry, including a spell as the sole UK distributor for Ivanhoe. John took Country Golf on with one aim in mind, and it is the reason the place has no membership, no dress code and a foam-ball course for people who have never swung a club.

Co-owner alongside John and the Head PGA Professional on site. His coaching academy has run from Country Golf for the last six years, and he does the Mizuno custom fitting in the shop.

The Joe Allenby Golf Academy is based here and teaches every day of the week. Three of the 22 bays are set up for coaching, and sessions start at £35 for adults and £15 for juniors.
